4. Energy Supply Agreement

By joining EnergyPlus, you authorise us to manage the switch from your current supplier. Supply will begin after your 14-day cooling-off period unless you choose an earlier start.

5. Pricing and Tariffs

• Our tariffs are clearly listed at the time of sign-up.
• Prices may vary based on your region, meter type, and usage profile.
• You will be notified of any changes to your tariff at least 30 days in advance.

6. Billing and Payments

• Bills are issued monthly and payment is usually taken by Direct Debit.
• You agree to pay your bills on time. Failure may result in additional charges or disconnection.
• Estimated readings may be used where actual readings are unavailable.

7. Cancellation and Cooling-Off

You have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into a supply agreement. If you cancel after the supply has started, you may be billed for any energy used.

8. Our Responsibilities

• We aim to provide continuous energy supply, subject to network conditions.
• We are not responsible for outages caused by third-party network operators.
• We commit to treating customers fairly and resolving complaints swiftly.

9. Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate meter readings when requested.
• Inform us of changes to your contact details or home move.
• Use energy responsibly and legally.

10. Termination

You may end your contract with us at any time by switching suppliers or notifying us directly. We may terminate your agreement if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or behave inappropriately with our staff.

11. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to the total amount paid by you over the last 12 months.

12. Privacy Policy

Your data will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We comply with all UK data protection laws and regulations.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled in UK courts unless alternative dispute resolution is agreed.
